Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh accused Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s government of abusing power and allowing corruption to increase. He claimed that the corruption by KCR’s family is a topic of discussion not only in Telangana but also in Delhi. Rajnath Singh made these remarks during a rally in Jammikunta, Huzurabad constituency, which is currently represented by BJP MLA Eatala Rajender.
Rajnath Singh questioned why Telangana did not experience development during the BRS regime, despite the skill and industriousness of the state’s people. He urged voters to support the BJP, stating that the lotus symbolizes prosperity. Rajnath Singh criticized the BRS party for its lack of development in the last decade and accused KCR’s family of interfering in government affairs.
Highlighting the fighting spirit of Telangana, Rajnath Singh referred to the historical figures of Maa Bhadrakali, Ramappa temple, Rani Rudrama, and Komaram Bheem. He encouraged the people to defeat the BRS party, which failed to develop the state as promised.
Rajnath Singh stated that while BJP prioritizes the state’s interests, KCR’s priority is his family. He criticized the BRS government for not fulfilling its promises of providing jobs, preventing question paper leaks, giving land to Dalits, and implementing the Dalit Bandhu Scheme.
The Union Minister emphasized the importance of credibility by mentioning BJP’s successful fulfillment of promises such as the construction of the Ram Mandir and the abrogation of Article 370.
Rajnath Singh also highlighted the corruption in the Dharani portal and criticized the BRS government for not implementing central schemes. He mentioned the failure to provide two-bedroom houses as promised and criticized the BRS party for engaging in divisive politics instead of promoting gender equality and women’s representation in the Assembly.
