Preparations are underway for the three-day Maha Shivratri Jatara mahotsavam at Vemulawada Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy temple. The temple authorities are expecting around two lakh devotees to attend the fair, and have been working closely with district officials to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.
A special queue line has been set up for VIPs attending the jatara, with each person required to purchase a darshan ticket for Rs 300. The minister has emphasized that no VIP passes will be issued during the fair, and all VIPs must buy the darshan ticket. Canopies, pandals, drinking water facilities, and temporary toilets have been arranged to accommodate the devotees.
Parking spaces have been designated for both regular devotees and VIPs. Additionally, arrangements have been made for Shivarchana during the Mahashivratri jatara. On Thursday evening, silk clothes will be offered to the deity under the guidance of various ministers and officials. Special police forces have been deployed to ensure the safety of all attendees.
TSRTC has organized special buses for devotees coming from different districts and states to attend the fair. The district collector, government whip, and other officials are closely monitoring the preparations to ensure a successful and memorable event for all participants.
