Raja Singh faces legal action by Shahinayathgunj police for hate speech in Hyderabad

T Raja Singh, the Goshamahal MLA from Hyderabad, has been in the news recently due to his hate speech incidents. Once again, the Shahinayathgunj police have registered a case against the BJP suspended MLA for allegedly delivering hate speech during the Sri Rama Navami Shobha Yatra procession on Thursday in Hyderabad. The case has been booked under Sections 504 and 505 (2) of IPC. T Raja Singh himself revealed in a video that a case has been booked against him. He stated that this is the 10th case booked against him after he came out of jail following the High Court’s decision to quash the PD Act detention.

Raja Singh denied saying anything wrong against any religion and reiterated his demand for Hindu Rasthra. He asked if it was wrong to demand this and questioned why speaking about current issues like love jihad, conversions, and cow slaughter could be construed as hate speech. He further asked if Telangana is a part of India or Pakistan and directed the question to the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
