Warangal East and West candidates Konda Surekha, Naini Rajender Reddy, and Konda Susmitha Patel welcomed Rahul Gandhi at Mamnoor Airport on Friday.
The Congress members were very happy after their top leader, Rahul Gandhi, spoke at meetings in Warangal. Many people followed him as he walked from Warangal Chowrastha to Pochamma maidan and he spoke with residents along the way. He promised to fulfill the ‘Six Guarantees’ that the Congress had made, including the Mahalakshmi Scheme, Free TSRTC Bus Travel for Women, Subsidized Gas Cylinders, Rythu Bharosa, Paddy Crop Bonus, and Free Electricity. Konda Surekha, Naini Rajender Reddy, and former MLC Konda Muralidhar Rao accompanied him during his visit.
During the event, several important leaders including former mayor Gunda Prakash Rao and former director Rajanala Srihari joined the Congress in the presence of Rahul Gandhi. In recent days, the Congress has gained a lot of support with many BRS leaders also joining their party.
