Social Worker Donates Puja Materials to Temple in Mahabubnagar
Diddi Praveen Kumar, a social worker and president of the Nenusaitham voluntary organization, donated puja materials to the Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Swamy Temple on Thursday. The temple is located on the outskirts of Appanapally village in Mahabubnagar district.
Speaking at the event, Praveen Kumar shared that the puja kits were handed over to the temple priest, Ramachari, as part of Nenusaitham’s ongoing work to support ancient temples. He mentioned that the organization has been distributing puja materials to historic temples for several years to assist in their upkeep and rituals.
The kits provided include essential items such as incense sticks, lamps, offerings, and 33 varieties of materials needed for daily rituals. “Each kit is designed to last two to three months and is meant to fulfill the daily worship needs of the temple. For ancient temples with additional requirements, we include extra support materials,” Praveen Kumar explained.
The event was attended by members of Nenusaitham, including Kongari Pavan and Sridhar Reddy, as well as temple priest Ramachari. Together, they highlighted the importance of preserving cultural and spiritual traditions.
Praveen Kumar reaffirmed his commitment to continuing this initiative and supporting temples in maintaining their rich heritage.
