Program organized by Telangana CEO to promote voting

On January 25, the Election Commission organized a program for National Voters Day in Hyderabad. The program had the theme of “Nothing like voting, I vote for sure” and took place at JNTU auditorium. Vikas Raj, the State Chief Electoral Officer, held a meeting to finalize the program and make sure it was successfully executed at the field level.

Vikas Raj ordered all District Electoral Officers (DEOs) to celebrate National Voters Day throughout the state, starting from the booth level. Guidelines were given to spread awareness among voters about the initiatives of the Election Commission. The event aimed to encourage voters to participate in the upcoming general elections to Parliament. DEOs were instructed to organize competitions at the school level, such as debates and drawings, as well as display posters and banners in public places. Seminars, webinars, advertisements, and campaigns were also planned.

At the Block Level Officers (BLO) level, new voters would be honored and given new EPIC cards.
