The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, started the 15th Vande Bharat Express train from Rajasthan using video conferencing. He said that it will help the tourism business in Rajasthan and that the modernization of railways was delayed by corruption and selfish politics. The new train will run between Ajmer and Delhi Cantonment, stopping in Jaipur, Alwar, and Gurgaon. It will take five hours and fifteen minutes to get from Delhi Cantonment to Ajmer. This train will be the first semi-high-speed passenger train in the world using high-rise overhead electric infrastructure.
