Chauhan also highlighted the duty of presiding officers during polling and stressed the importance of adhering to election procedures from training day until the end of polling. Employees and staff assigned to election duties must remain neutral and avoid any political affiliations. It is crucial to strictly enforce the election code of conduct and create a checklist for tasks to be completed before and during polling.
He recommended conducting a mock poll at 6:00 am on polling day and emphasized the submission of form-12 for those performing election duties, including postal ballots. Master trainers provided a presentation to increase awareness among presiding officers about the polling process at Gadwal MALD college in the morning.
