Deputy CM's Visit to Wanaparthy: Key Details and Preparations
Wanaparthy District Collector, Adarsh Surabhi, has emphasized the need for meticulous arrangements to ensure the smooth execution of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka’s visit to the district on January 9. Officials have been instructed to leave no room for errors during the planned events.
As part of his visit, the Deputy CM will first inaugurate a 33/11 KV sub-station in Talpanur village of Revalli mandal at 9:30 AM. Following this, he will proceed to Edutla village in Gopalpet mandal to launch another 33/11 KV sub-station. These inaugurations are aimed at enhancing the region’s power infrastructure.
Later in the day, the Deputy CM will lay the foundation for seven new sub-stations at a ceremony held at the RDO office in Wanaparthy. The locations for these sub-stations include Khasimnagar, Chimman Guntapalli, Mettupalli, and Nagavaram villages in Wanaparthy mandal; Pamireddypalli in Peddamandadi mandal; Chennuru village in Gopalpet mandal; and Nagarala village in Srirangapur mandal. A meeting with officials is also scheduled in the afternoon at the collectorate to discuss key matters.
In preparation for the visit, District Collector Adarsh Surabhi personally inspected the Wanaparthy Transco office and the Edutla sub-station in Gopalpet mandal on Wednesday. During his inspection, he provided guidance to the officials to ensure all arrangements are completed effectively and without delay.
The inspection was attended by RDO Subramanyam, Transco DE Srinivas, and tahsildars Ramesh Reddy and Tilak Kumar Reddy from Gopalpet. Gopalpet Sub-Inspector (SI) also accompanied the team to oversee the preparations.
