PRCI Hyderabad celebrates World Radio Day in a grand way

The Public Relations Council of India (PRCI), Hyderabad Chapter, celebrated World Radio Day with great enthusiasm. The event highlighted the importance of radio in shaping public discussions and strengthening cultural connections.

Retired IAS officer RV Chandravadan spoke about the decline of radio due to the rise of digital media and artificial intelligence. He expressed concern over this trend and urged the government to take steps to revive and promote radio. He emphasized that radio should continue to be a powerful means of communication.

Several notable figures attended the event, including Professor Vinod Pavarala, a strong supporter of community radio, and Ramesh Sunkasari, Head of Akashvani Hyderabad. PRCI Vice President Ravindran, along with PRCI Hyderabad leaders Shakeel Ahmed, Aneeja, Philip, Robin, and Jacob Ross, were also present at the celebration.
