Nagar Kurnool: Planning Commission Vice Chairman G. Chinna Reddy said that Nagar Kurnool district is leading in development across various sectors. He credited both officials and public representatives for their contributions to this progress.
Chinna Reddy made these remarks during the celebrations of Telangana Praja Palana Dinotsavam, which took place on Tuesday at the Integrated District Officers Complex in Nagar Kurnool. As part of the event, he raised the national flag and received honors from the police.
He also talked about the many development and welfare schemes started by the Telangana state government in the district. Before the flag hoisting, Chinna Reddy paid tribute by garlanding the portraits of important figures such as Telangana Talli, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. In addition, he paid his respects at the Telangana Martyrs’ Memorial.
Several important leaders and officials were present at the event. These included District Collector Badavath Santosh, Superintendent of Police Vaibhav Gaikwad Raghunath, Nagar Kurnool MLA Dr. Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy, Achampet MLA Dr. Chikudu Vamsikrishna, Kalwakurthy MLA Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, DFO Rohit Gopidi, Additional Collector Dev Sahayam, and other district officials and staff.
