Minister for Revenue, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, made a strong statement against those who have encroached on government lands. During a housing review meeting in Huzurnagar, he stated that all encroached lands will be reclaimed. The meeting was attended by officials from the housing program in the constituency.
Ponguleti emphasized that not even a single yard of encroached land should be left and they will be taken back. The reclaimed lands will be given to deserving individuals under the Indiramma Rajyam scheme. He also accused the previous government of rushing tenders for house construction for the poor and then abandoning them after receiving commissions. Ponguleti criticized former Chief Minister KCR for weakening all sectors.
In the same meeting, Irrigation Minister N Uttam Kumar Reddy expressed his gratitude to the people for the recent election victory. He promised that the Congress government, which came back to power, will provide houses to deserving individuals. Kumar also condemned the neglect of the previous government in this regard.
