Former MP Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, who was suspended from the BRS party, has declared that his main objective now is to ensure that the ruling party does not win a single seat in Khammam district. Speaking to the media in Khammam on Monday, Ponguleti expressed his anger towards Chief Minister and BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao for his suspension and accused KCR and his son K T Rama Rao of cheating him for many years. Although he worked for the party and its candidates in the district, the BRS denied him a ticket to fight the election in Khammam despite being a sitting MP. Ponguleti stated that he had joined the TRS party along with YSRCP MLAs in 2014 but failed to receive the promised support. He also criticized the BRS for failing to fulfill promises made to the people and employees. Ponguleti is now free from suspension and plans to work for the people’s agenda. He aims to defeat BRS candidates in the coming polls and ensure his followers win 10 Assembly seats in the district. Ponguleti condemned comments made by BRS leaders, stating that they have no right to comment on him, and predicted that the BRS’ downfall would start from Khammam district.
