Police Play a Crucial Role in Maintaining Law and Order: Mancherial District Collector
Mancherial District Collector Kumar Deepak emphasized the vital role of the police in maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety. He noted that the police are often the first responders in times of danger, coming to the rescue of people when they need it most.
The District Collector made these remarks during the ‘Deekshant Parade’ organized by the 13th Battalion in Gudipet, Hajipur mandal on Friday. The event was attended by Commandant Venkatramulu, DCP Bhaskar, Additional DCP Raju, Assistant Commandants Nageshwar Rao and T Kalidas, UMO T Santosh Singh, AO Umesh Kumar, and Singareni Sanstha Srirampur Area GM LV Suryanarayana.
Speaking at the event, Kumar Deepak highlighted the police force’s integral role in community service. He praised their tireless efforts to protect the public and maintain law and order, regardless of caste, religion, or community. The Collector also noted that constables form the foundation of the police system, directly contributing to the safety and welfare of society.
Commandant Venkatramulu shared that 548 SCTPCs (Stipendiary Cadet Trainee Police Constables) had successfully completed their training with a perfect 100% pass rate. He mentioned that many of them had worked in various fields before joining the police force and are now ready to serve society as constables.
Further details revealed that 572 SCTPCs initially enrolled on April 1, 2024. However, some trainees secured other jobs, such as firefighter roles, D.Sc. positions, Group-4 posts, or junior lecturer positions, during the training period. Additionally, ten trainees left the program for various reasons.
The event was attended by several officials and dignitaries who commended the constables for their dedication and commitment to public service.
