Hyderabad: The Hyderabad city police have filed a case against K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and a former minister, along with several other BRS leaders. The case was registered for organizing an unauthorized rally at Telangana Bhavan.
The rally took place on Thursday after ACB officials questioned K.T. Rama Rao in connection with the Formula-E car race case. The event reportedly caused public nuisance and disrupted traffic in the area.
The Banjara Hills police took action following a complaint from the traffic police. Investigations revealed that K.T. Rama Rao led a large rally from the ACB office to the BRS party office without obtaining the necessary permissions.
