Two men were caught with a large amount of hash oil in Hyderabad. The police from the Rachakonda Special Operations Team (SOT) in Bhongir, along with the Pochampally police, arrested the two suspects. The police seized 10.2 kg of hash oil from them, which is worth Rs 1.52 crore.
The arrested men are Gammeli Govinda Rao (36) and Korra Rambabu (30), both residents of Andhra Pradesh. The police said that Govinda and Rambabu were friends who got involved in drug trafficking to make quick money. They were buying hash oil from their contacts in Andhra Pradesh and selling it to people in need of it.
On August 26, Govinda and Rambabu received 10.2 kg of hash oil from two individuals named Chanti and Laxmi Naidu. They then traveled to Hyderabad by bus and got off at Kothaguda X roads. The police caught them near the Ayyappa Swamy Temple.
The police are now working to catch Chanti and Laxmi Naidu, who supplied the hash oil. It was also revealed that about 40 kg of ganja is needed to produce 1 kg of hash oil, meaning that approximately 450 kg of ganja was used to make the 10.2 kg of hash oil that was seized.
