Police in Hyderabad have made a breakthrough in the hit-and-run case that occurred in Jubilee Hills. They have identified the driver of the fastest car as Dwarampudi Naga from Kukatpally, who was immediately arrested and had his car seized. The police were able to identify Naga based on CCTV footage, which showed him hitting a bike while under the influence of alcohol and then fleeing the scene without stopping.
The incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday morning at Peddammagudi. A speeding car collided with a two-wheeler, causing the bike to be thrown 20 feet away. One person died at the scene, identified as Tarak, a 27-year-old bouncer who was returning from work. Tarak had been married for a year and a half and had an 11-month-old son.
Upon hearing the news of Tarak’s death, his wife and family members were devastated. The police registered a case and made an arrest based on the CCTV footage. Tarak’s body was handed over to his relatives, but they remained agitated in front of the Jubilee Hills Police Station with his body until late in the night.
