Prime Minister Narendra Modi called Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to talk about the heavy rains and flooding in the state. During the call, CM Reddy explained the damage caused by the floods in several districts.
Chief Minister Reddy told the Prime Minister that the state government has been working hard to prevent any loss of life. He also mentioned that they have already started relief efforts to help those affected. He pointed out that the Khammam district was hit the hardest by the floods.
In response, Prime Minister Modi promised that the central government would help by sending helicopters to Telangana to support the relief efforts. He also praised the Telangana state government for its quick and effective actions that helped prevent any loss of life during the floods.
