Pinnelli denies fleeing, welcomes investigation into election violence in Macherla

Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, the YSRCP candidate and Government whip in Palnadu district, criticized TDP candidate Julakanti Brahmananda Reddy for his involvement in faction politics. Pinnelli expressed his willingness to undergo an investigation by a sitting judge regarding the clashes that occurred in the Macharla constituency during the polling day.

According to Pinnelli, Brahma Reddy fueled faction politics in Macharla and showed little concern for the constituency’s residents. Pinnelli dismissed Brahma Reddy’s accusations that he fled, pointing out that Brahma Reddy himself had left the constituency after losing the election. Pinnelli also mentioned incidents where members of the Kamma community disrupted YSRCP activities in certain villages.

Pinnelli alleged that the vandalism in these villages was carried out by a police officer named Karempudi CI Narayanaswamy, despite a prior court order to increase security. He emphasized that he did not run away from his responsibilities and highlighted the efforts made by MP Sri Krishnadevaraya to unite the Kamma community.

Pinnelli criticized Brahma Reddy for engaging in dirty politics and questioned his contributions to Macherla compared to his own efforts after YS Jagan became Chief Minister. He described Brahma Reddy as a leader who built a house through donations and labeled him as a ‘Chandala’ leader.
