Pawan Kalyan, the leader of Janasena Party, was campaigning in Tenali when a stone was thrown at his campaign vehicle, Vaarahi. Luckily, the stone missed him and fell far away.
Reports suggest that the stone was thrown by a participant in the Varahi Yatra. Jana Sena party members caught the person responsible and handed him over to the police.
The incident happened as Pawan Kalyan arrived in Tenali for his Varahi Yatra. The motive behind the attack is not yet known.
This incident comes just a day after Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was injured in Vijayawada when someone threw a stone at him. YS Jagan suffered a minor injury to his left eyebrow and received immediate medical attention.
