A passenger was arrested at RGIA for trying to open a flight door mid-air on a journey from Indore to Hyderabad, according to the police. The 29-year-old passenger caused a disturbance and argued with airline staff just before the flight was set to land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
After landing at RGIA, the airline staff filed a complaint against the passenger. As a result, the police registered a case against him and he was taken into custody. The passenger, who resides in Chandragirinagar, had traveled to Ujjain in Madhya Pradesh with a friend before boarding the flight to Hyderabad from Indore.
The airline staff and other passengers tried to prevent him from opening the door due to his unusual behavior. It was reported that he had consumed ‘bhang’ before boarding the flight, which may have contributed to his actions.
