Hyderabad: Minister Konda Surekha’s political opponents from her home district have filed a complaint against her with the Congress Party leadership in Hyderabad. There has been growing tension within the Congress Party in the unified Warangal district, which has led some MLAs and senior leaders to meet with PCC (Pradesh Congress Committee) chief B Mahesh Kumar Goud and AICC (All India Congress Committee) in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi on Wednesday.
Recently, Konda Surekha has been involved in several controversies, impacting her public image. Her rivals saw this as an opportunity to weaken her influence in the Warangal district.
One notable incident was a clash between Surekha’s supporters and the supporters of Parkala MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy. The argument arose over the display of their respective leaders’ photos on flex posters during Dasara celebrations in Geesugonda, Warangal district. This incident has highlighted the growing differences between the two leaders.
