In the past nine years, the Telangana government has recruited 2.2 million government employees and plans to recruit another 1.5 million employees. Reddy criticized Modi for his incompetence and unconsciousness, saying that every day 270 companies are shutting down. He raised questions about his ability to govern and demanded BJP leaders to respond. In Karnataka, the BJP government has been accused of inefficiency, leading to dissatisfaction among the people. While the central government has provided Rs 360 crore to Telangana, the state government has only provided Rs 160 crore. The central government still has Rs 200 crore left to give. The demands for accountability from the central and state governments have been raised by the opposition.
Farmers have been demanding direct payment to their accounts, with 70 million farmers receiving Rs 13 crore directly through the farmer friend initiative. Reddy criticized the cancellation of recruitment notifications in universities by the BJP-affiliated departments, which resulted in legal action.
