Nagarkurnool: Asma Sultana, a first-year student at Palem Agricultural College, has been awarded the prestigious ‘Women in Agriculture Student Scholarship’ by Godrej Agrovet. The college is part of the Palem Agricultural Research Campus in Nagarkurnool district. The announcement was made by the college principal, Dr. B. Pushpavathi.
Dr. Pushpavathi shared her happiness over the achievement, mentioning that only five students from across the country were selected for this scholarship. She expressed pride that Asma Sultana was among them, representing Palem Agricultural College.
The official scholarship award ceremony was held on Friday in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Asma Sultana received the scholarship in the presence of faculty members, staff, and students. The entire college community was delighted, as she was the only student chosen from Telangana.
