Around 16,296 engineering seats are still vacant after the TSEAMCET-2023 special phase seat allotment. Out of a total of 85,671 seats available in 178 engineering institutions, 69,375 seats have been filled so far. The most popular branches among students were Computer Science Engineering and IT-related courses, with 90.20% of the seats filled. Electronics and Communication Engineering also saw a high demand, with 80.51% of the seats filled.

On the other hand, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, and Mechanical engineering courses had fewer takers, with only 31.48% of the seats accepted by students. In total, 83,369 students participated in the certificate verification during all phases of the admission counseling. In the special phase, 19,320 candidates exercised web options, and 10,535 were able to switch to a better branch through sliding. Additionally, 1,966 students received new allotments.

Among the colleges, 24 had a 100% admission rate, including five universities and 19 private institutions. However, one college had zero enrolment. In the B Pharmacy and Pharm D courses, there were 2,858 vacant seats. Students with an MPC background are also eligible for pharmacy admission.

For those who received seat allotment in the special phase, tuition must be paid and self-reporting must be done online on the website https://tseamcet.nic.in/ by August 28. The students should then report to their allotted college between August 25 and 29.
