The Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC) has called for the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) to suspend its chairman, Dr. B Janardhan Reddy, before announcing fresh dates for its exams. The OUJAC has demanded a total overhaul of the TSPSC, action against those responsible for the question paper leak, and for a new committee of experts to announce the exam dates. The chairman of OUJAC, Byru Nagaraju Goud, has criticized the government’s ‘indifference’ towards the unemployed who have been protesting against the question paper leak and pressing their demands for a month. He has threatened to lay siege to the TSPSC office if new exam dates are announced without suspending Dr. Reddy. The OUJAC believes that the announcement of exam dates by the same members without addressing the issue of the commission’s overhaul is equivalent to ‘handing over key to a thief.’
