Shantanu Narayen, the CEO of Adobe Inc. in the USA and an alumnus of Osmania University, held an interactive session with the students during the university’s 83rd convocation. The session received a great response from both students and faculty members. Professor Sriram Venkatesh, the Principal of UCE, highlighted the achievements and developments during the session.
During his interaction with the students, Narayen shared his memories of his undergraduate days at the college, where he pursued electronics and communication engineering. He mentioned that he actively participated in sports like tennis while focusing on academics and advised the students to balance all aspects of their lives.
Narayen also talked about his journey to the United States, where he completed his masters and joined Adobe. He discussed various topics such as motivation and how he has managed to stay at Adobe for so many years. He shared his approach to handling critical moments as a CEO by using an analogy of a cricket match. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a work-life balance and taking time off.
Narayen encouraged the students to pursue their interests and be passionate about their future. He advised them to work hard and stay motivated. After the session, Narayen was felicitated by the Registrar, Professor P Laxminarayana, the Principal of OUCE, Professor Sriram Venkatesh, the Vice Principal, Professor P Chandra Sekhar, and other faculty members.
