Osmania University Explores Collaboration with US University
Hyderabad: Osmania University (OU) is looking to work together with Governors State University (GSU) from Illinois, USA. On Thursday, representatives from both universities met to discuss how they could collaborate on academic projects.
The meeting focused on possible partnerships, such as signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and setting up exchange programs for both students and faculty members. OU officials shared that they are excited about the future possibilities.
The Osmania University delegation was led by Professor Kumar Molugaram, the vice-chancellor, along with Professor P Laxminarayana, the registrar, and Professor M Ramulu, who is in charge of examinations. The GSU group was led by Jason Vignone, director of graduate admissions and retention, with Dr. Sonia Dalmia, the dean, and Dr. Robert Morley, director of international services, also attending.
Both universities are eager to build partnerships that will benefit students and teachers. They discussed potential projects like joint research, faculty exchanges, and student internships, according to a senior officer from Osmania University.
