Orientation Conducted at JNEC in Mahabubnagar to Welcome Freshers

A recent orientation program was held for the first-year students at Jayaprakash Narayana Engineering College in Mahabubnagar. The chairman of the college, KS Ravi Kumar, spoke about the college’s achievements and education highlights. The college was established in 1997 to honor Bharat Ratna Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan with the blessings of his political mentee, late S Jaipal Reddy. The chairman welcomed the new batch of engineering students and lateral entry students.

During the program, the chairman stressed the importance of hard work in college to succeed in studies. He also mentioned that students from the college had won a gold medal at JNTU University in the civil and mechanical engineering departments. He encouraged everyone in the college community to make full use of the available facilities and strive for excellence in all aspects of education.

Ankit Jain, Executive Director of One Window, took the opportunity to provide insights on educational opportunities and career prospects abroad. Department heads also gave presentations about their respective branches and the college’s strong training and placement programs. The event was attended by other important members of the college, such as the college secretary Sri V Venkata Rama Rao, director Dr Lingan Gowda Kulkarni, principal Dr Sujeevan Kumar, and principal of College Polytechnic VE Chandrasekhar.
