The Ministry of External Affairs has decided to open 14 Post Office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) in the State due to increased demand for appointment availability. These passport centers will process applications on Saturday, May 20th at various locations throughout the state. Around 700 applications, including PCC, will be released through the Passport Seva Website on May 19th at 4:30 pm.
Applicants can register or reschedule their appointments using the www.passportindia.gov.in/mPassportseva app and attend the respective POPSKs where their slots are booked. Prior appointments are mandatory, and no walk-ins will be entertained at the POPSKs.
In addition, all applicants are advised not to use middlemen, touts, or brokers for their passport and passport-related requirements but to make use of this special measure. Dasari Balaiah, Regional Passport Officer and Head of MEA branch secretariat, urges all applicants to follow these guidelines.
