Officials Work on Gadwal Municipality Master Plan

Additional Collector Lakshmi Narayana has directed officials to speed up the submission of important data needed for the Gadwal Municipality Master Plan.

On Wednesday, a training session was held at the IDOC meeting hall. Hyderabad Regional Director of Town and Country Planning, Narasimha Reddy, along with other officials, discussed proposals for drafting the Master Plan.

During the session, the Additional Collector explained that drone-based aerial surveys have been conducted to gather detailed information for the city’s development. The Master Plan will focus on identifying areas for housing, industrial growth, and commercial activities.

Officials will also collect data on solid waste management, road expansion, traffic control, public health, water management, and industrial zones. The Additional Collector emphasized the importance of coordination among departments to systematically compile current and future development plans.

The first step in the process is to create a base map and gather relevant details from different departments. After analyzing the data, officials will prepare study maps. A review meeting with all concerned departments will be held before the Master Plan is finalized and sent for government approval.

Once approved, the plan will be published, allowing the public to provide feedback, raise objections, and share suggestions before the final implementation.

Before the meeting, officials were given a detailed PowerPoint presentation. It covered departmental responsibilities, data collection methods, and key factors to be considered while preparing the Master Plan.

The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Narsing Rao, Gadwal Municipal Commissioner Dasharath, district officials from various departments, and other concerned officers.
