Fertilizer Shops Inspected in Bijnapalli Mandal
On Thursday, inspections were carried out at various fertilizer shops in the Bijnapalli mandal, Nagar Kurnool district. The inspections were led by Mandal Agricultural Officer Neeti. Shops in several villages, including Palem, Bijnapalli, Lattupalli, and Vattam, were inspected to ensure compliance with regulations.
In Palem village, shops such as Sri Sai Raj Narayana and Agro Raithu Seva Kendras were reviewed. In Bijnapalli, Mallikarjuna Fertilizers was inspected, while in Lattupalli, Agro Raithu Seva Kendra was scrutinized. Jayashree Traders in Vattam village was also checked.
During the inspections, stock registers and fertilizer inventories were thoroughly examined. Officer Neeti reminded the dealers that fertilizers must be sold through the PASS system. She also advised farmers to bring their Aadhaar cards when purchasing fertilizers to ensure proper documentation.
Officer Neeti provided an update on the availability of fertilizers in the Bijnapalli mandal. She said that 286.695 metric tons of urea are currently in stock. This includes 60.48 metric tons at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Society, 48 metric tons at Raithu Seva Kendras, and 178.215 metric tons with private dealers. Additionally, there are stocks of 74.75 metric tons of DAP, 61.15 metric tons of MOP, and 263.9 metric tons of NPK.
Furthermore, Officer Neeti conducted an inquiry with three farmers in Lattupalli who had purchased large quantities of fertilizers. In Vattam village, crop inspections were also carried out to verify the crops registered for the ongoing rainy season.
