The district Collector Valluri Kranti has instructed district officials to make arrangements for the National Integration Day and Ganesh immersion program in the district. In a meeting with the officials, the Collector emphasized the need for coordination among them to ensure a peaceful celebration without any barricades or lighting that could cause accidents. It was suggested to remove wires and trees along the idol’s path and temporarily repair roads damaged by the rain. Officials were also asked to monitor and prevent electrical accidents, ensure sanitation and drinking water at the immersion place, and have swimmers on standby to prevent water accidents. The fire and medical departments were instructed to make necessary arrangements. Similar coordination meetings were ordered in four municipalities to ensure a smooth immersion process.
The Superintendent of Police, Shrujana, mentioned that strict security measures are being taken at Ganesh Pendals and immersion places to prevent any unlawful incidents. She also emphasized the importance of avoiding sound pollution during Navaratri and ensuring that religious issues do not arise during the immersion.
The district Collector Valluri Kranti stated that the Telangana National Integration Day should be successfully organized on the 17th of this month. The Chief Guest will unveil the National flag at the IDOC office at 9am, and all officials and staff are advised to participate. Cultural activities will be organized with seating arrangements according to protocol.
In addition to the district Collector, other officials including Additional Collectors Cheerla Srinivas Sagar and Apoorva Chauhan participated in the morning.
