Official appeals to Anganwadi teachers in Karimnagar to end strike

The District Welfare Officer M. Saraswathi in Karimnagar has requested Anganwadi teachers and helpers to end their strike. She visited the striking Anganwadi camp and emphasized the importance of providing nutrition to pregnant women, nursing mothers, and babies every day. She urged the staff to stop the strike and resolve their issues peacefully. The government and officials of the women development and child welfare department are dedicated to the welfare of Anganwadis.

Saraswathi assured that the strike has not disrupted Anganwadi services. The district Collector is closely monitoring the situation and ensuring that nutrition is provided daily. Out of the 777 Anganwadi centers in the district, only 176 centers are affected by the strike, but they are still operating at full capacity. Nutrition is being provided to the beneficiaries through village associations and resource persons.
