Somesh Kumar is now the Chief Advisor to the Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrashekar Rao. He started his new job on the sixth floor of the Secretariat after priests performed a religious ceremony. Staff members greeted him, and he expressed his thanks to the Chief Minister for giving him another chance to serve the state.
The Chief Minister appointed Kumar as his Chief Advisor on May 9. He will hold the position for three years and will have the rank of Cabinet minister.
