The NITW’s annual fest, Technozion, started in Warangal on Friday. Prof. V T Somashekar, Dean Research & Consultancy, inaugurated the event and mentioned that the technical fests help in learning from each other. Various faculty members were also present at the event.
Some events of Technozion began at 3 pm before the formal inauguration in the evening. Here are the highlights of some exciting events:
1. Trading Pit: A simulation-based competition where students can experience real-time stock market trading. The participants will invest in stock markets, and the winners will be determined based on who makes more money.
2. Orbix: Students will present innovative ideas to tackle the challenges of e-waste from satellite launches and space radiations. The focus is on saving the environment.
3. Crack The Query: A competitive SQL coding contest consisting of multiple rounds where participants face different challenges using SQL.
4. Innochem: Students presented research articles on sustainable energy and the environment, covering various topics related to sustainability.
5. Creative Robotics: Using a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machine, custom digital images are created.
These events aim to provide hands-on experience, encourage innovation, and promote learning in various technical fields.
