The National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW) recently hosted Springspree-23, a cultural fest that saw the participation of several eminent personalities. On the final day of the event, Venu Udugula, the director of Virataparvam, took part in the Director’s Cut event organized by Fil committee. During the event, he shared his experience and knowledge on filmmaking, spoke about his journey in the movie industry, and interacted with the students. He also encouraged students to follow their passion and work towards their goals.
Apart from this, the event also featured other exciting activities that attracted students. The Planetarium event showcased recent developments in space and provided information on constellations. The Food Fiesta organized by the Health club served five types of sweets, and participants had to consume them within 80 seconds to win a free biryani pack. At the Ambedkar Learning Center, psychologist Visesh spoke on “Hope for Tomorrow – Navigating Life’s Challenges and finding strength within,” where he discussed coping with stress, building resilience, conquering challenges, and mastering well-being.
Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, a renowned director who hails from Warangal, interacted with students and spoke about various aspects of his life, including movies, college life, and his friends. He answered questions raised by students and shared details about his upcoming movies like Keeda Cola and Ea Nagaraniki Emaindi 2. In the evening, Mohan Sisters and DJ Swattrex performed, while other events like handprints, origami, karaoke, and pottery making attracted a lot of participants.
The winners of these events will be declared online. The event was organized by Springspree-23 event secretary Vaibhav Reddy, student coordinators Ajay, Gurunath and Piyush, and sponsorship student coordinator Ashish, among others. Overall, the event ended on a high note, leaving students with memorable experiences and new insights.
