District Additional Collector Narsinga Rao in Gadwal urged officials from different departments to work together for the progress of education, healthcare, and other sectors in villages.

In Gattu mandal of Jogulamba Gadwal district, a program called “Sampurnatha Abhiyan” was organized by NITI Aayog. A rally was conducted with students in the mandal center where they honored Mahatma Gandhi’s portrait and pledged to work towards village development. Before the program started, District Collector and NITI Aayog Delhi representative Sriya Nair met with officials.

NITI Aayog has identified Gattu mandal as one of the 500 backward mandals in the country. Development initiatives will be carried out on six key topics from the 4th of this month to the 30th of September. These initiatives include providing medical care for pregnant women, ensuring nutritious food for infants, detecting hypertension and diabetes among individuals over 30 years old, and distributing soil health cards to farmers.

The Delhi representative of NITI Aayog highlighted the importance of coordination among authorities to develop the medical, education, health, and agriculture sectors in Gattu Mandal. Women’s groups will receive 100% of the revolving fund, and loans are available to support their growth. ANMs and Asha workers were urged to focus on the health of pregnant women and infants. A skit was performed to raise awareness about the precautions pregnant women should take.

Teach for Change and Bhavishya Bharat are actively working to provide quality education to students in government schools in the district. These organizations are committed to supporting the educational development of underprivileged students.

The program was attended by NITI Aayog Delhi Representative Shriya Nair, Women and Child Welfare Department Officer Sudharani, Agriculture Department Officer Govind Naik, officials from the Medical Education Department, MP DO Chennaih, Anganwadis, Asha workers, local representatives including ex-MP Vijay, ZP TC Shyam, and many students.
