In Nirmal district, panic arose when a 27-year-old man stabbed his girlfriend to death because she was ignoring him. This shocking incident occurred in Khanapur town during daylight and quickly became the talk of the town. Unfortunately, the victim’s niece was also injured in the attack. The police have provided details about the incident, stating that the victim was returning home from a tailoring shop with her niece and nephew on Thursday.
While they were on their way, the accused, who had been waiting there, launched an attack with a knife. The victim tragically lost her life on the spot due to multiple stab wounds. Her brave niece tried to intervene but ended up getting injured. Thankfully, she is currently receiving treatment and the doctors have assured that her condition is stable.
The police have disclosed that the victim and the accused were acquainted with each other. However, she had been keeping her distance as her parents were in the process of finding a suitable match for her. The accused, unable to accept being kept away, committed this heinous act. A case has been registered by the police, who are actively searching for the accused, who is currently on the run.
