Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao inspected the works of the night food bazaar at Satavahana University on Malkapur Road in Karimnagar on Friday. He issued orders for the installation of seating arrangements, play equipment, CCTV cameras, lighting, and toilets. The night food bazaar should be completed quickly and ready for opening in September.
Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao said that a sophisticated night food court is being made available to the people of Karimnagar. The Municipal Corporation is setting up the night food court at Satavahana University. The aim is to provide a pleasant atmosphere with various facilities for families to spend time in.
The construction of tiles and good lighting has been arranged in the area where the food bazaar will be set up with funds of Rs 1 crore. Seating arrangements will be made for at least 100 people. Different types of food items will be available in the night food bazaar.
In the future, a space will be allocated for the sale of art & craft and handloom items. Based on the experience of the night food bazaar, more night food bazaars will be set up in different parts of Karimnagar as per the demand of the people.
Additionally, 20 walking tracks with good lighting have been set up in the Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. Lighting for walkers is also being installed in other areas like SRR College, Ambedkar Stadium, and Giddeperumandla temple ground.
Mayor Yadagiri Sunil Rao was joined by Corporator Edulla Rajasekhar, SE Nagamalleswar Rao, EEs Kishtaiah and Mahendhar, and representatives of RV Agency Harikrishna, Muralidhar, and others during the inspection.
