Home Minister Mohammed Mahamood Ali inaugurated several new facilities at Osmania Hospital in Hyderabad. These include a new Surgical Gastroenterology Operation theatre, a renovated General surgery outpatient clinic, a Transgender Clinic, and a Pain clinic. The Surgical Gastroenterology Operation theatre is equipped with high-end equipment for complex Liver surgeries. The renovated General surgery outpatient clinic now offers a modern setup with facilities comparable to corporate hospitals. The Pain clinic provides advanced pain relief techniques and equipment, collaborating with a team from California. This service is free for poor patients who cannot afford expensive treatment. The Transgender clinic offers healthcare services for Transgender Persons, including complex gender transformation surgeries, free of cost. Previously, these procedures were only available in private hospitals at high prices.
