The South Central Railway’s Secunderabad division has opened a Rail Coach Restaurant at the Necklace Road railway station in Hyderabad. This restaurant aims to provide a unique dining experience for food lovers. It is the second coach restaurant in Telangana, with the first being the Restaurant on Wheels at Kacheguda Station.
Necklace Road Railway station is a busy hub in the suburban network of Hyderabad. It attracts many tourists due to its proximity to picnic spots. To cater to the food preferences of the people in the twin cities, the station was chosen as the location for the coach restaurant.
An unused coach has been renovated with modern and aesthetic interiors to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience. The Boomerang Restaurant in Hyderabad has been awarded the contract for managing this rail coach restaurant for five years.
The restaurant offers a variety of cuisines and provides both dine-in and takeaway options. Situated in a popular area of Hyderabad, this coach restaurant combines nostalgia and gastronomy to offer an unforgettable dining experience.
Arun Kumar Jain, the General Manager of South Central Railway, expressed his excitement about providing another unique food service option for the people of Hyderabad.
