Congress is set to form the government in Telangana for the first time in ten years. They have won 64 seats and have a clear majority. The General Administration Department (GAD) is making arrangements for the new Chief Minister (CM). A new convoy has been formed for the CM, consisting of six white vehicles. The CM will use this convoy immediately after taking the oath.
There is still confusion about who will be the CM. Although there were campaigns suggesting that Revanth Reddy would be the CM, no official announcement has been made. The party high command has called Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar to Delhi for a discussion on this matter. The names of the CM, Deputy CMs, and Ministers are likely to be announced on Tuesday.
