National seminar commences for two days

A national seminar on quality assurance and faculty preparation for NAAC accreditation was recently held at Osmania University in Hyderabad. The event, sponsored by the Telangana State Council for Higher Education and organized by the Internal Quality Assessment Cell at OU, aimed to explore important aspects of ensuring quality in higher education and the role of faculty in meeting NAAC standards.

During the seminar, Professor D Ravinder, the Vice-Chancellor of OU, emphasized the significance of quality teaching and the importance of being prepared for NAAC assessments, regardless of who is overseeing the educational system. Professor R Limbadri, chairman of TSCHE, highlighted that only a small percentage of students pursuing undergraduate programs in Telangana go on to enroll in traditional postgraduate courses at state-run universities.
