So far, Telangana has received 2.45 lakh applications.
Hyderabad, June 18 (Namaste Telangana): The Telangana State Building Permission Approval and Self Certification System (TS-bPASS) is being recognized as an ideal model by other states. Other states are expressing interest in implementing this system, which grants permissions for construction activities online. Telangana has set an example by providing permissions for online construction in every city. This method has been implemented successfully in Punjab, Tamil Nadu, and other states. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin expressed surprise and asked if they could also provide such permissions. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh also personally came with officials to study the system. The TS-bPASS is bringing about reforms to make the lives of people easier. The registration process is being carried out in coordination with registration offices.
Once this process is complete, land details can be obtained from here. Special units like the Project Monitoring Unit (PMU) have been established to address the concerns and doubts of applicants whose applications are pending. They are reviewing the salaries of those who are involved in the process of considering representations. The TS-bPASS is issuing occupancy certificates (OC) for buildings constructed on an area greater than 200 square meters. They are also following the TS-bPASS method to enforce roof slab inspections. They are investigating whether OCs were issued in time for their construction. All government regulations are being followed by the TS-bPASS.
