NALSAR to launch Centre for Arbitration Law

Senior advocate Gourab Banerji has signed an agreement to establish the Milon K Banerji Centre for Arbitration Law at NALSAR University of Law in Hyderabad. The Centre will be led by former Supreme Court judge Justice (retd) Rohinton Fali Nariman as chair and senior advocate Ritin Rai as co-chair, with Banerji as the donor and patron.

The Centre is named after Banerji’s father, the late Milon K Banerji, who was a well-known jurist and served as Attorney General for India for two terms. Banerji expressed his pleasure in partnering with NALSAR to promote arbitration in academia, highlighting his father’s passion for arbitration during his legal career.
