Nagar Kurnool Doctors Perform Successful Appendicitis Surgery

Doctors at the Nagarkurnool Government General Hospital achieved a milestone by successfully performing a laparoscopic appendicitis surgery. The patient, Anjaneyulu, a Chenchu tribal from Errapenta village in the Nallamala region, was admitted with severe abdominal pain. After thorough examination, the General Surgery Head of Department, Dr. Raghu, and his team decided to proceed with the minimally invasive procedure.

The surgery was carried out by a skilled medical team, including Dr. Nagaraju, Dr. Veena, Dr. Karuna Bharati, and Dr. Venkat Reddy. The operation was completed successfully within just 30 minutes, showcasing the expertise of the hospital staff.

Laparoscopic surgery involves making a small incision instead of a large cut, which reduces recovery time significantly. Dr. Raghu explained that this method allows patients to heal faster and return home within 24 hours, enabling them to quickly resume their normal activities.

Dr. Raghu also emphasized that the surgery was part of the hospital’s efforts to provide advanced medical care to the Chenchu tribal community. He assured the public that the hospital is equipped to offer more advanced treatments in the future and encouraged people to make use of the medical services available at the government facility.
