Hyderabad: BJP President JP Nadda on Congress Party

BJP President JP Nadda compared the Congress party to a parasite, accusing it of weakening the parties it aligns with. He explained, “A parasite sticks to a tree and drains its strength, causing the tree to dry up. Similarly, Congress weakens any party it depends on.”

Speaking at a public meeting, Nadda criticized the Congress government for its alleged failures over the past year. He claimed that Congress made big promises to win elections in Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, and Telangana but has failed to deliver on them.

Nadda also pointed out Congress’s reliance on regional parties to secure a foothold in certain states. Using Tamil Nadu and Uttar Pradesh as examples, he said, “Congress wins some seats where a regional party is strong, but it cannot win elections on its own.”

In contrast, Nadda emphasized the BJP’s focus on development. He expressed confidence that the BJP would come to power in Telangana during the 2029 Assembly elections. “Change in Telangana is possible only with the BJP. We will win the assembly elections whenever they are held,” he added.

Highlighting the BJP’s success, Nadda noted that his party is directly governing in 13 states, while Congress is struggling to manage its governments in just three states. He accused Congress of making false promises to win elections in Telangana, Himachal Pradesh, and Karnataka, only to fail in implementing them.
