Malkajgiri BRS legislator Mynampally Hanumanth Rao accused Finance Minister T Harish Rao of corruption and threatened to expose him. However, BRS leaders KT Rama Rao and MLC Kavitha came to the defense of the minister and condemned Hanumanth Rao’s comments.
Hanumanth Rao criticized Harish Rao for obstructing the development of old Medak district by encouraging group politics. He questioned Harish Rao’s authority in Medak district politics and raised concerns about ticket allocation.
Hanumanth Rao’s son, Rohit Rao, wanted a ticket from Medak, but the current member, Padma Devendar Reddy, is a strong supporter of Harish Rao. Hanumanth Rao warned that he would show his power and influence in Harish Rao’s Assembly segment in Siddipet. He also accused Harish Rao of accumulating Rs 1 lakh crore in wealth through corrupt means.
KT Rama Rao expressed his condemnation of Hanumanth Rao’s behavior and reiterated his support for Harish Rao. He emphasized that Harish Rao has been a crucial member of the BRS party since its inception.
Kavitha also opposed Hanumanth Rao’s comments and praised Harish Rao’s commitment to Telangana and his services to the BRS party and its people. She also hailed Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao as a courageous leader.
Kavitha expressed excitement about the upcoming Assembly elections and the announcement of candidates by CM KCR. She expressed confidence in the leadership of CM KCR and the effective administration of the BRS government. She humbly sought the blessings of the people of Telangana.
