Rajender toured the hospital, visiting the outpatient department and speaking directly with patients. He inquired about their illnesses, the treatment they were receiving, and the quality of care provided. He also inspected the hospital bathrooms and advised staff to maintain cleanliness. Highlighting key issues, the MP noted a lack of essential equipment like ultrasound machines, a shortage of rabies vaccines, and insufficient medicines. Additionally, patients were reportedly being asked to pay for X-rays and blood tests, which he found unacceptable.

Local residents shared their grievances with the MP, particularly about the unavailability of doctors at night, which creates problems during emergencies. The hospital staff also pointed out a lack of sufficient funds to operate the facility efficiently. Rajender emphasized that government hospitals primarily serve the poor and should not impose unnecessary financial burdens on patients.

The MP mentioned that he had visited the hospital after receiving complaints about the absence of doctors, nurses, and essential medicines. He expressed concern over the Rs. 50 consultation fee being charged at the cantonment hospital and assured efforts would be made to address the issues. He promised to work on ensuring that necessary medicines and better facilities are made available for the benefit of the public.
